Basketball Recap: Green Hill Now 12-1 over Last 13 Games

Green Hill won the last time they faced Overton and things went their way on Friday too. The Green Hill Hawks enjoyed a cozy 52-38 victory over the Overton Bobcats. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Bobcats are ranked 237th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Green Hill is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. Overton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Looking ahead, Green Hill is taking a road trip to face off against Hillsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hillsboro will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Green Hill surely won't give up without a fight. Overton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
