Soccer Recap: Mulvane Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Mulvane had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Independence Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Mulvane in their meetings with Independence: they've now lost six in a row.

Independence has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Mulvane is taking a road trip to take on Rose Hill on Thursday. The contest will give Mulvane their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Independence, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Field Kindley on the 16th.
