Soccer Game Preview: Crown Point vs. Westfield

The Crown Point Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Westfield Shamrocks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Crown Point will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Westfield better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Crown Point's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when Crown Point really gets things going. The Bulldogs never let Valparaiso get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Considering Crown Point have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Valparaiso with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ana Petrovska, Lilly Maldonado, and Addy Sabau.

Meanwhile, Westfield earned a 2-0 victory over Brownsburg on Wednesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Westfield's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Brownsburg are ranked 59th).

Crown Point's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Westfield, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1-1.
