Football Game Preview: Ferris Saxons vs. Mt. Spokane Wildcats + How To Watch

Ferris hasn't had much luck against Mt. Spokane recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Saxons will head out on the road to challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m.

Ferris' offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against University on Friday. They took a 17-0 bruising from the Titans. While losing is never fun, the Saxons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Titans are ranked 102nd).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Mt. Spokane took on Lewis & Clark on Friday. The Wildcats skirted past the Tigers 21-18. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mt. Spokane, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Ferris was dealt a bruising 46-7 defeat at the hands of Mt. Spokane in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Saxons were down 37-7.
