Baseball Recap: New Brunswick Continues Home Dominance on Monday

New Brunswick had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Piscataway Vo-Tech Raiders. Those four runs were actually the fewest the Zebra have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

New Brunswick pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Piscataway Vo-Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coming up, New Brunswick will challenge Highland Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Piscataway Vo-Tech, they will take on Rahway at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
