Basketball Recap: Woodbury Central Comes Up Short

Woodbury Central lost against Trinity Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Woodbury Central Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 32-31 to the Trinity Christian Tigers.

Woodbury Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8. As for Trinity Christian, their record is now 4-8.

Woodbury Central will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Trinity Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-42 win against South O'Brien on the 28th.
