Concord had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt North Rowan on Thursday. The Spiders put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Spiders in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won five in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Concord was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14, 25-12.

Mckinley Williams paced Concord's offense, picking up five kills. Williams got some help from Adeline Fulton and her ten assists. Isabell Bishop controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Concord's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for North Rowan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
