Volleyball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Viewmont Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 23-25, 25-15.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Viewmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northridge is set to take on their familiar foe Clearfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Viewmont will challenge rival Bonneville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
