Flag Football Recap: Plainfield East Comes Up Short

Plainfield East and Bolingbrook squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Plainfield East had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Raiders 38-0. The Bengals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Leading Bolingbrook to victory were Heaven Harris and Kennedy Williams. Harris rushed for 49 yards and two TDs, while Williams rushed for 65 yards and one score on only five carries. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Harris a new career-high.

Plainfield East's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Bolingbrook, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-10.

Plainfield East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bolingbrook, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 19-0 defeat against Romeoville on the 7th.
