Football Game Preview: Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders vs. St. Andrew's Lions + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders and the St. Andrew's Lions will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Robert Toombs Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully St. Andrew's likes a good challenge.

Two weeks ago, Robert Toombs Christian Academy didn't have too much trouble with Briarwood Academy as they won 34-20.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Drew Edwards, who rushed for 107 yards and three scores, and also threw for 132 yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, St. Andrew's was not the first on the board two weeks ago, but they got there more often. They skirted past Augusta Prep 24-22.

St. Andrew's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Andrew's when the teams last played back in September of 2023, winning 42-29. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
