Basketball Recap: Nemo Vista Comes Up Short

Nemo Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sacred Heart Rebels. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-47 back in December of 2024.

Nemo Vista's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Sacred Heart, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nemo Vista will head out to take on Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Sacred Heart, they will take on Wonderview at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. One thing working in Wonderview's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
