Volleyball Recap: Tunkhannock Has No Trouble Against Hanover Area

Tunkhannock won the last time they faced Hanover Area and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hawkeyes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-19, 28-26.

Several Hawkeyes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Davyn Piatt-Ferreira, who had 11 digs and seven kills. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Hall, who had nine digs and five kills.

The win got Tunkhannock back to even at 2-2. As for Hanover Area, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Tunkhannock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Wilkes-Barre on the 1st. As for Hanover Area, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Dallas on the 2nd.
