Volleyball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall lost against Stevens back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams fell 2-0 to the Falcons. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arrian Spratt paced Marshall's offense, picking up eight kills. Spratt got some help from Gianna Leyva and her nine assists. Spratt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Stevens, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Lamar on the 16th. As for Stevens, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against El Paso on the 16th.
