Basketball Recap: Angel Munoz's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Intrinsic over Noble Street College Prep

Intrinsic lost against Noble Street College Prep back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Intrinsic Mustangs fell 71-59 to the Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers.

Intrinsic lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Angel Munoz, who posted 20 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Israel Paredes was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Intrinsic has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Noble Street College Prep, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Chicago Academy the next time they take the court. Intrinsic will head out to face Chicago Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Noble Street College Prep will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on February 18th.
