Football Recap: Foxcroft Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Gardiner

Foxcroft Academy faced Gardiner in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Ponies were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to the Tigers.

Foxcroft Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Gardiner, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Foxcroft Academy will welcome Brewer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ponies are facing the Witches at the right time seeing as the Witches are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Gardiner, they will take on Cony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
