Soccer Game Preview: Parkway vs. Bossier

The Parkway Panthers will head out to challenge the Bossier Bearkats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Parkway's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over North DeSoto. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Bossier entered their tilt with Rapides on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Mustangs 8-0. The Bearkats' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Bossier has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five contests. As for Parkway, their win bumped their record up to 3-6-2.

Parkway suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Bossier in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Parkway avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
