Volleyball Recap: West Hall Takes a Loss

West Hall was the 2-1 winner over Commerce when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Tigers on Thursday.

While West Hall was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22.

West Hall's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Commerce, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

After both having extra time off, West Hall and Monroe Area will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are facing the Purple Hurricanes at the right time seeing as the Purple Hurricanes are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Commerce, they will take on Elbert County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
