Baseball Recap: Doral Academy Firebirds vs. TERRA Environmental        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Doral Academy gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand TERRA Environmental  a   10-0 shutout. The  victory was familiar territory for Doral Academy who now have ten in a row.
  Aaron Elissalt looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 At the plate,  Michael Torres was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Leandro Hernandez, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 On TERRA Environmental's side, they got a good showing from  Joseph Alvarez, who   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 Doral Academy pushed their record up to 18-1 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for TERRA Environmental, they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-9.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Doral Academy will  take on South Broward at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Doral Academy knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully South Broward likes a good challenge. As for TERRA Environmental, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Varela at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. Varela's pitching crew has only allowed two  runs per game  this season, so TERRA Environmental's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
