Baseball Recap: Strongsville Comes Up Short

Strongsville has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.78 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They fell 10-7 to the Brunswick Blue Devils. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Strongsville's record now sits at 15-8. As for Brunswick, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

While Strongsville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
