Softball Recap: Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors vs. Kenwood Broncos

After flying high against Simeon last Friday, Perspectives Leadership/Technology came back down to earth. The Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors fell 10-7 to the Kenwood Broncos on Friday.

Makaylia Dortch made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Laya Barker, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

On Kenwood's side, Jaliyah Wheaton looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs but no hits.

On the hitting side, Kellya Petikou was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, six RBI, and a run. Kennedy Turpeau was another key contributor, going 2-for-2 with a home run and three runs.
