Volleyball Recap: Tomas Comes Up Short

Tomas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bay City Blackcats.

Tomas' loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Bay City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Tomas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Brazoswood on the 30th. As for Bay City, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Kinkaid on the 30th.
