Softball Recap: Caldera vs. Ridgeview Ravens        
        
		
            
 Caldera put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Ridgeview Ravens with a sharp  13-3 win. The  victory was some much needed relief for Caldera as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Brooklyn Chapin spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three  runs (all of which were unearned)  on one hit and racked up six Ks.
 At the plate,  Elliotte Preston was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while going 2-for-3.  Aliyah Gaffke was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with two  triples, four  RBI,  and a  run.
 Caldera now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Ridgeview, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
 Caldera will have a chance to go back-to-back against Ridgeview: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
