Softball Recap: Clyde Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Clyde's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wall Hawks on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Clyde saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brileigh Dailey, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base. Dailey has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times she's played.

Clyde is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-6. As for Wall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Clyde and Wall will both be playing Jim Ned the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hawks will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th.
