Baseball Game Preview: Ninnekah Owls vs. Elmore City-Pernell Badgers

The Ninnekah Owls will head out on the road to take on the Elmore City-Pernell Badgers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Ninnekah has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Ninnekah is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game last Tuesday. They came up short against Rush Springs, falling 14-6.

Meanwhile, Elmore City-Pernell was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Rush Springs. The matchup marked the Badgers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Elmore City-Pernell's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Ninnekah, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Ninnekah came out on top in a nail-biter against Elmore City-Pernell when the teams last played on March 4th, sneaking past 7-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ninnekah since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
