Basketball Recap: Charleston Math & Science Takes a Loss

Charleston Math & Science was the 71-50 winner over Green Sea Floyds when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Riptide fell 64-52 to the Trojans on Saturday. The Riptide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Charleston Math & Science's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Green Sea Floyds, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Charleston Math & Science will take on Hannah-Pamplico in a holiday battle at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. The Riptide will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.91 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Green Sea Floyds, they will be taking part in a tournament against Socastee at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
