Baseball Recap: Northeast Eagles vs. Sycamore War Eagles
Northeast fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Sycamore on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the War Eagles by a score of 5-4. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 13-2 to the War Eagles when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Aidan Lee was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
