Baseball Game Preview: Hobbs Eagles vs. La Cueva Bears

For the second straight game, Hobbs will face off against La Cueva. The Eagles will square off against the Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Hobbs has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while La Cueva will arrive with 13 straight wins.

Hobbs heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They lost 17-1 to La Cueva.

Hobbs saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Kesner, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

La Cueva's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Hobbs, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.
