Volleyball Recap: Boca Raton Takes a Loss

If Boca Raton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Sports Leadership & Management last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Boca Raton Bobcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King's Academy Lions on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost six in a row.

Boca Raton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-21.

Boca Raton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for King's Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Boca Raton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Suncoast on the 13th. As for King's Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Wellington on the 18th.
