Softball Recap: Bingham Takes Down Ranked Mountain Ridge

Bingham faced Mountain Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Miners came out on top against the Sentinels by a score of 9-6. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Sentinels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Rian Howland was incredible, going 2-for-4 with five RBI and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Fogg, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Bingham's record is now 15-8-2. As for Mountain Ridge, with the loss, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-2.

Bingham didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-0 win against Hunter on the 7th. As for Mountain Ridge, they have also already played their next game, a 15-5 victory against Layton on the 7th.
