It was a good run, but Midland Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Trinity Christian Lions, falling 66-36. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.

Trinity Christian found their leader in sophomore Lucai Anderson, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points. Anderson has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more points the last 13 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Delgado, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Midland Christian now has a losing record at 15-16. As for Trinity Christian, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midland Christian has already played their next game (against Grace Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Trinity Christian will welcome Grapevine Faith Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Grapevine Faith Christian likes a good challenge.
