Russia's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They never let the Cedarville Indians get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Considering the Raiders have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Russia is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cedarville, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-7-1.

Russia will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair will be back at it again later today.
