Recap: Harvey Red Raiders vs. Bedford Bearcats

The Harvey Red Raiders struggled with threes on Thursday (the Bedford Bearcats had seven more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Harvey took a serious blow against Bedford, falling 84-48.

Harvey lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Davon Badley, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Armani Hall, who scored 13 points.

JJ Hudson was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with three steals for Bedford. Hudson is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Terrell Pollard, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and four blocks.

Harvey's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Bedford, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Harvey will finish 2023 at home by hosting John Hay at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. John Hay is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Bedford's road trip will continue as they head out to face Chardon at 5:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023.
