Softball Recap: Rumson-Fair Haven Comes Up Short

Rumson-Fair Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Shore Regional Blue Devils, falling 20-3. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Blue Devils since on Tuesday.

Rumson-Fair Haven's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Shore Regional, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Rumson-Fair Haven will challenge Keansburg at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.57 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Shore Regional, they will be playing at home against Ocean Township at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
