Recap: Knippa Crushers vs. Nueces Canyon Panthers
This season hasn't been kind to the Knippa Crushers, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They were the victim of a tough 49-27 defeat at the hands of Nueces Canyon on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Knippa in their matchups with Nueces Canyon: they've now lost seven in a row.
Nueces Canyon was led to victory by Madison Sifuentes and Schreiner Meredith. Sifuentes scored 19 points along with 5 steals, while Meredith dropped a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Meredith has scored at least 25% of Nueces Canyon's points.
