Volleyball Recap: Otis Bulldogs vs. Yuma Outlaws

Otis was the 3-0 winner over Yuma when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Outlaws by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Aedyn Tribelhorn paced Otis' offense, picking up 14 kills. Tribelhorn got some help from Crysten Goble and her 20 assists. Madison Reynolds controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Carolina Ross was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight matches.

Otis' loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Yuma, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Otis is taking a road trip to challenge Fleming at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Yuma, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Merino on the 30th.
