Football Recap: Goldsboro Takes a Loss

Goldsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 48-6 defeat at the hands of the James Kenan Tigers. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Goldsboro's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for James Kenan, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Goldsboro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 49-21 defeat against Princeton on the 17th. As for James Kenan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 49-21 victory against C.B. Aycock on the 17th.
