Deer Park put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Clarkston Bantams as they made off with a 13-3 victory. While the Stags didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The team relied heavily on Lucy Lathrop, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jillian Marshall, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.

Lathrop wasn't the only one making solid contact: Deer Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Deer Park pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Clarkston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Deer Park and Clarkston will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Stags see the field they'll take on Colville at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Clarkston, their break will end when they face West Valley at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
