Volleyball Recap: Pomperaug Takes a Loss

Pomperaug lost against Nonnewaug back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Chiefs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Pomperaug was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Nonnewaug work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 26-24.

Pomperaug's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Nonnewaug, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pomperaug will take on Notre Dame Prep at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nonnewaug, they will face off against Northwestern Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
