Baseball Recap: East Peoria Finds Home Field Redemption Against Lasalle-Peru

There's no place like home for East Peoria, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers by a score of 7-2 on Friday. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

R.J. Duncheon was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

East Peoria's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for LaSalle-Peru, they moved to 14-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
