Softball Recap: Pittsfield Generals vs. Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles
In what's become a running theme this season, Pittsfield gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles 20-4. The victory was nothing new for Pittsfield as they're now sitting on five straight.
Amanda Pou made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Pou was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Paxton Ebling was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
