Habersham Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 72-60 victory over the Brunswick Pirates on Saturday. The Raiders are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Brunswick's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Heze Kent, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Kent is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 18 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Butler, who posted 13 points and five steals.

Habersham Central pushed their record up to 27-3 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.9 points over those games. As for Brunswick, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-5.

Habersham Central has already played their next match (against Tri-Cities), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brunswick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
