Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was the 61-51 winner over Dimmitt when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Roosevelt Eagles fell 56-47 to the Dimmitt Bobcats on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Dimmitt, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-15.

Roosevelt and Dimmitt could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Roosevelt (ranked 599th) will meet Littlefield (ranked 193rd) at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dimmitt will face off against Idalou at 6:15 p.m. on Friday down 528 places (624 vs. 96).
