Volleyball Recap: Cross Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cross can now relate to. They fell just short of the King's Academy Lions by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stingrays of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Leah Nadolski paced Cross' offense, picking up 15 kills. Nadolski got some help from Savannah Hollings and her 26 assists. Sydney Hollings controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cross' loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for King's Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-12.

As of now, neither Cross nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
