Center is 7-2 against Jacksonville since November of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Center Roughriders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jacksonville Fightin' Indians at 7:30 p.m. Center is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season.

Center's tournament run continued when they took on Bridge City on Saturday. Center enjoyed a cozy 58-40 victory over Bridge City. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roughriders.

It was another big night for Tim Johnson, who went 9 of 11 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmarion (JA) Smith, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Center smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville was able to grind out a solid win over Marshall on Tuesday, taking the game 48-40. That's two games straight that the Fightin' Indians have won by exactly eight points.

Jacksonville's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13. As for Center, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Center was able to grind out a solid victory over Jacksonville in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 64-51. Does Center have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jacksonville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
