Volleyball Recap: East Columbus Wins Going Away Against Red Springs

East Columbus won the last time they faced Red Springs and things went their way on Thursday too. The Gators were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Devils.

East Columbus walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 25-21.

MacKenzie Clemmons was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.

East Columbus now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Red Springs, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Columbus beat the Red Devils by a score of 3-0 later that day.
