Columbus won against Hardaway on Thursday with 45 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Columbus Blue Devils breezed by the Northside Patriots to the tune of 45-6. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Serenity Hickman was her usual excellent self, throwing for 256 yards and six touchdowns while completing 81.8% of her passes. She also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending two passes. Another player making a difference was Harmony Franklin, who gained 106 total yards and two touchdowns.

Columbus didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Alexandria Lofton and Jamiese Spivey. Lofton also set a new season high mark in receiving yards with 152.

Columbus has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.6 points. As for Northside, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Columbus will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against LaGrange at 6:15 p.m. As for Northside, they will take on Shaw at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
