Parkwood needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Nehemiah Davis. The Wolf Pack managed a 53-47 win over the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets on Friday with plenty of help from Davis, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Several Yellow Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Toryjh Parker, who posted eight points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Blakeney, who had nine points and seven rebounds.
The victory got Parkwood back to even at 4-4. As for Forest Hills, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
Parkwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-64 win against Buford on the 15th. Forest Hills will take on Myers Park in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
