Softball Recap: Blue Springs South Jaguars vs. Grain Valley Eagles
After flying high against Grand Island last Saturday, Blue Springs South came back down to earth. The Blue Springs South Jaguars fell just short of the Grain Valley Eagles by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
Ella Carmack made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Cheyenne Burge, who went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
