Soccer Recap: Atascadero Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Atascadero was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Templeton Eagles. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Greyhounds couldn't quite close it out.

Atascadero's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Templeton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-5 record this season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Atascadero will challenge Mendota at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. Mendota will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Atascadero surely won't give up without a fight. As for Templeton, they will take on Cabrillo at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th.
