The Richlands Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Topsail Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Richlands is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.

Richlands made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Clinton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Richlands never let Clinton get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-goal performance the game before.

Kamrey Watkins and Torrie McAllister scored all four of Richlands' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Meanwhile, neither Topsail nor Jacksonville could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Topsail's record moves to 1-1-5. As for Richlands, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Richlands suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Topsail when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Richlands avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
